When can I help?
We’ll start accepting volunteers to test the app next year. We’ll be hiring some key positions in January and meeting with the board of directors to establish our plan for 2026.
Who is Ryan?
Ryan “Grandma Geek” Bodary (Founder) has been helping people in Lansing, MI, and beyond since 1999. He founded Trideon LLC and has been solving problems for local businesses and homes for over 25 years.
When can I Donate?
We’re planning a fundraising campaign for early 2026. This will be to fund the administrative costs and purchase an accessible vehicle.
What can I donate?
We’ll be looking for cash donations and subscriptions to start. Accessibility accessories and other common elder care items will be accepted once we have a location to store things.
Can Crowd of Hands help me before the app is released?
We hope to have our organization established and seed funds secured before we start helping our neighbors. The plan is to test the app while meeting the neighbors with the most immediate needs as soon as possible. If you know someone with a need for on-demand support, please email papa@crowdofhands.org. Tell us about the gap in home care help or a problem other services haven’t been able to solve.
